长寿花
第一种当然是长寿花，笔者十分钟爱的绿植，我家北阳台的“主力”观花植物，不怎么需要太阳，每年10月份开始准时长出花苞，无数的小花长在枝头顶端，陆续开放，能一直持续到第二年夏至，观花期超过半年之久，其中秋冬春三季开满，花量巨多，花色丰富，很是漂亮。
优秀的耐阴开花植物
长寿花属于景天科草本花卉，枝条会木质化，养两年就会变成一棵“小树”，株型直立，分枝能力好，叶片也是肉质肥厚，即便不开花，也可养成小老桩盆景树。耐阴能力十分好，很适应北阳台的种植环境，喜欢干湿交替的环境，一周左右浇水一次就行了，有肥料就施点，复合肥磷肥钾肥都可以。
蟹爪莲
第二种就是蟹爪莲了，也是重要的冬春季观花植物，在西欧部分国家和长寿花一道，是最常见的室内盆花，每年圣诞节期间开花，能一直持续到第二年的春季末，期间会反复开花很多次。花朵花姿美艳，如同飞舞的蝴蝶在空中飞翔。花色很多，有大红色、粉色、橙色、白色及多种复色品种，现在还不断有新品种诞生。
