丧假指的是根据原 劳动总局、财政部《关于国营企业职工请婚丧假和路程假问题的规定》，国有企业职工的直系亲属死亡时，企业应该根据具体情况，酌情给予职工1 3天的丧假。直系亲属， 指和自己有直接血缘关系或婚姻关系的人，如配偶、父母、子女
如果职工死亡的直系亲属在外地，需要职工本人去外地料理丧事的，企业应该根据路程远近，另外给予职工路程假。职工在休丧假和路程假期间，企业均应当照常发放职工的工资。职工在途中的车船费等，由职工本人自理。
《 人民共和国劳动法》第五十一条规定“劳动者在法定休假日和婚丧假期间以及依法参加社会活动期间，用人单位应当依法支付工资。”
